Onestar watched silently as Firestar and the rest of the ThunderClan cats padded on home. His heart felt quite heavy. As the familiar flame-colored coat turned the corner of the bush and disappeared. That ThunderClan leader, former warrior, former apprentice, his best friend, the one he could count on, was gone.
Onestar was sure that Firestar had felt the same way. He knewhe should not have been so harsh and had asked the others to ask his patrol to leave. But he was leader of WindClan now. They can't be so soft and always running to ThunderClan for help. That wasn't looking good on their clan, as it is, Tallstar had supposedly already ruined some of their reputation when he had often went to ThunderClan for help. But Onestar couldn't blame him, ThunderClan was friendly, and after all, they did ask Firestar, then Firepaw, and Graystripe, then Graypaw, to look for them and bring them home, he would always be grateful for that.
